Description
This talk presents recent advancements in the angular-ordered parton shower algorithm, extending Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) radiations on top of the existing Standard Model (SM) only algorithm. Capitalising on the fact that shower kinematics are fully determined by the spins of involved particles, helicity-dependent splitting functions for all viable combinations of scalar bosons, fermions, and vector bosons have been calculated. These functions are integrated into Herwig 7, facilitating a user-friendly implementation of BSM parton showers. The accuracy of this framework is validated through comparisons with fixed-order (FO) calculations, confirming that the BSM splitting precisely dictates FO results in the soft and collinear regions. Moreover, implications of BSM particle splitting at the Large Hadron Collider and possible future colliders are explored, specifically examining some simplistic extensions of the SM. This work not only enhances our understanding of the parton shower process in more generalised scenarios but also opens new avenues to study BSM contributions in the logarithmically enhanced region.
